Jim Parsons, in full James Joseph Parsons, (born March 24, 1973, Houston, Texas, U.S.), American actor who is best known for his starring role as the socially challenged, brilliant, and astonishingly self-centred theoretical physicist Sheldon Cooper on the TV sitcom The Big Bang Theory (2007-19). As of 2016, Renee Parsons was a former vice president of community outreach with GoDaddy, an Internet name and domain hosting company. [1] Parsons previously directed philanthropic giving for GoDaddy, and she told the Phoenix CBS affiliate that her work at the company inspired much of the Phoenix-based giving of the Parsons Foundation.
